About the Designer, Laura Sultan: My love of metals and gemstones arose from the enjoyment of the textures, symmetry, and appreciation of the geometric beauty found in nature. I love playing with themes of duality such as applying historical techniques used in modern designs or vintage styles used to represent nature. Also, many pieces incorporate sacred geometry, that is based-off of the natural world, and represent spiritual harmony with the universe. I have created and sold pieces in New Zealand, the USA, and Canada. In each country, my art has allowed me to share my passion with other individuals while simultaneously teaching them about the relationship between art and nature. Together, I create pieces that are respectful of nature yet can be worn within our fast paced, modern society.
