Tailored to suit your needs, introductory to competition level. Shayne Jensen, born in Calgary AB, has been entrenched in Health and Fitness for the better part of life. In his youth, Shayne played Soccer and Tennis. He also played multiple seasons of Hockey, Football, Baseball and competitive Squash. Being raised so close to the Rocky Mountains he developed a passion for Hiking, Mountain Biking and Snowboarding. A fierce competitor to all sports, at the young age of thirteen, Shayne found a new calling, he moved his athleticism from the courts to the gym. Weight lifting and Bodybuilding were the real passions to teenager Shayne, eager to learn, he found this to be the new discipline in his life. Bodybuilding was what he was going to live and breathe. Poetic to the sport, Shayne believes that by understanding the values to Bodybuilding, you can shape the human body into a beautiful, symetrical and balanced living work of art. Having multiple educational backgrounds, Shayne holds a Personal Fitness Trainer certification from M.R.U. and an Electronics Engineering Technology diploma from S.A.I.T., both located in Calgary, AB. Shayne soon realized that his first hand experience with numerous training methods, and with testing multiple dietary strategies was the most valuable part of his education. Open minded, he never gives up the opportunity to improve, by studying current fitness trends and searching for new cutting edge technologies. Shayne has been involved in many facets of the fitness industry. Shayne received top performer awards from Gold's Gym Canada in 2010 and 2011. Shayne was awarded top 3 at World Health Club for 2013. Come and train with Shayne at one of Calgary's most popular executive fitness clubs. Shayne trains out of the World Health Club located in the heart of the city's metropolitan shopping district, Scoita Center 217 - 7ave SW. We are conveniently situated along Calgary's famed Stephen Avenue and accessible directly from the 3rd Street SW C-Train platform on 7th Avenue. Ample parking is available on the street and in public or private parkades.
