Company: Research and Development Machineworks Contact: By E-mail / Phone / SMS Capabilities: - CnC Vertical Machining Center, X 30", Y 16", Z 20", 10HP 7500RPM. - CnC Milling Machine, X 12", Y 6", Z 10", 2HP, w/ 4th Axis. - CnC Lathe, 8" Chuck, 19" Swing, 24", 27" b/w Centers, 20HP. - Horizontal/Vertical Manual Milling Machine, 24"x8"x20" 5HP. - 2 Manual Lathes: Two of 10" Swing, 24" b/w centers, 1HP. - Lathe, 15" Swing, 42" b/w centers, 5HP. - MIG/TIG/Arc Welding (200A Max), and Torch-Cutting. - Tube Bender w/ 1/2", 1", 2" dies. Qualifications: - Combined 27 years of experience. - Journeyman Machinists, Red and Blue Seal Certified. - Honours B. Commerce, McMaster University. - Prototyping Machinists with World Class Research Facility. - Experienced with many different materials and manufacturing methods. Operating a small business on the side in order to subsidize the cost of the above machinery. We are located outside the city, but commute to Edmonton daily and can meet briefly for drawing/material exchanges. We prefer to restrict preliminary job discussions to e-mail for logistical reasons.
