The first Sussex Insurance location was opened on West 3rd Street in North Vancouver in 1976. Sussex Insurance introduced the concept of franchising to the British Columbia insurance industry in 1989 with the opening of the first Sussex Insurance franchise office on Granville Street in Vancouver. Today, the Sussex Insurance group operates more than 40 locations throughout BC, with many more offices scheduled to open in Alberta in 2013. 1 in 14 British Columbians transacts Autoplan at a Sussex Insurance location. Sussex Insurance has built itself through attention to customer service and convenience, attempting to make the insurance process as streamlined and efficient as possible for every customer. Sussex Insurance is a franchise network so each office is locally owned and operated. We are continually expanding to better serve our customers, creating franchise opportunities for business owners and employment opportunities for licensed insurance agents.
