Hearts Choices is a speciality Vegetarian, Vegan, and Thai Vegan food store located in The Calgary Farmers Market in Calgary, Alberta..
We sell a large variety of vegetarian mock meat style items that are made with non-gmo soybeans that are precooked, seasoned, and frozen ready to reheat. Our selection is increasing all the time, and we have both vegetarian style (which will contain some dairy or egg whites) and vegan. Recently we have added a line of items made with whole food ingredients like vegan burgers, pecan loafs and dressings. As well we are constantly adding gluten free options. Our co-owner Nan makes all of our Thai Vegan dishes with Heart and tons of flavour. We have a popular line of Vegan Thai curries that includes Yellow, Green and Red Curry. We also make Peanut Satay Sauce, and lots of different Thai dishes ranging from mild to spicy! Hearts Choices came to life after the founders Nan and Chris, both long time vegetarians, moved to Calgary from Vancouver. Landing in a city where there seemed to be limited options for vegans and vegetarians, we started selling our products out of the necessity of having them for ourselves. Over a year later, thanks to our lovely friends and customers support, we have been able to expand Hearts Choices into what it is today.
