I have what I consider to be the best job in the world; I get to have tea parties! My children love that I am home with them most of the time and I do too. Our product is amazing, delicious, all natural and includes a certified organic selection as well. It is fabulous that I can have tea with my kids and know exactly what they are drinking.
Our fruit teas are a great alternative to juice and contain no added sugar, makes great Popsicles too. Steeped Tea is a proud supporter of JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and donates $1 to the cause every single time one of our 100g bag size JDRF fruit teas are sold. We also have a professional fundraising program allowing charities the opportunity to run fundraiser that provide a great product while keeping 40% of the sales. Steeped tea was founded in 2006 in Hamilton, Ontario by Tonia Jahshan as a home based party business sharing fine loose leaf teas. The company was on Dragon's Den in 2012 asking for funding to expand into the US. After a bidding war, Tonia and her husband Hatem along with their team of a Canadian independent consultants were joined by Jim Treliving and David Chilton and the company opened in the US in 2013. The company has gone from an operation out if Tonia and Hatem's basement in 2006 to #17 in the Fortune 500 index with a growth rate in 2013 of 1877% and is expected to rise even higher by the end of 2014.
