An extremely passionate, charismatic person with creative vision in commercial and media photography. Canadian Born, Darcy Rowan spent a quarter of his life living in Los Angeles California working on a career as a pop singer songwriter in the music business. While in Los Angeles, he became fascinated by old Hollywood photography and fashion, prior to arriving back to Canada.
Darcy experienced life in front of the camera lens while in the entertainment business long before becoming a photographer. As a photographer today, he uses this experience by putting himself in the subject’s place, creating a better communication system between himself and the client. His style is clean, slick with a commercial edge and a vintage Hollywood touch. He is inspired by such magazines as Vanity Fair, Vogue, V Magazine, Life Magazine and National Geographic. Darcy tends to lean more towards concept creative photography, stepping out of the box by adding direction and ideas to all his photo sessions. His credits include, the first edition of YEMEN MAGAZINE, Canadian Pop Recording Artist-Kristina Marie, Global Fitness Workouts-former Mr. World-Andrée Maillé, The Fleming Fitness Group, SHINOUSSA all natural products. Darcy has joined forces with a rapidly growing Media Group called Distantia. He offers a wide variety of photoshoots such as: Fashion, Corporate Events, Family Portrait, Weddings, Advertisement Media and Fitness. With a great team and fully equipped studio.
