With a professional dust containment system we are able to eliminate harmful dust that would normally be airborne throughout the house during sanding. With this process we are able to remove cupping, deep scratches, dents, and other damage. You can also change the colour of the floor with over 80 selections of stain colour. Refinishing requires sanding the floor to remove all the varnish and stain down to the bare wood to achieve a flat and even surface. We offer both oil and water based products when refinishing your hardwood floor in either a satin or semigloss finish. Refresh - 99% dust free. This process doesn't require sanding down to bare wood and is used when your hardwood floor is still in good condition but the varnish has dulled down. It also removes minor surface scratches. This requires prepping the floor with a special solution that removes dirt, oil, and any other contaminants that may interfere with varnish application then scuffing the top layer of varnish using a specific abrasive disc to assure proper adhesion of the new top coat and finally 1 application of high traffic aluminum oxide water based varnish. Stairs - we can refinish your existing stair treads and risers. We also do installation of stair treads and risers with solid wood.
