Bernadette Calpito Bernadette developed a love affair with comfort food at an early age. She studied at George Brown, graduating with honours in 2002 and 2003 respectively in chef training and culinary management. Upon graduation, Bernadette honed her skills under the wing of Chef Massimo Capra. She then became the sous chef for David Gaunt of Rosewater and Eagles Nest in Mercatto. Her final training took place as the sous chef for Kultura serving under Chef Roger Mooking. She is now ready to utilize her considerable talents in her own kitchen. Bernadette is a talented, innovative, top-rising chef. Her greatest passion is the art of charcutiere and with the Cafe, she has found a home in which to showcase her considerable talents and passion for fine foods. *Hours may change during holidays or special occasions.
