-Pumping station aluminium 6061-T6 safety grating platform design reinforced to withstand a live load of 100 -300 lbs/ sq. ft (4.8-14.36KPa) with maximum deflection of 1/150th of the span.
-Aluminium 6061-T6 access hatch with safety grating design reinforced to withstand a live load of 100-300 lbs/sq. ft (4.8-14.36kpa) with maximum deflection of 1/150th of the span.
-Aluminium access hatch design with a CL-625-ont wheel load per clause 3.8.4.3(a) of CAN/CSA-S6-06, and includes an -impact factor of 15% for an off highway location
-Aluminium 6061-T6 access hatch CSA occasional traffic load, high Impact designed for an emergency loading by a CL-800 #2 axle wheel load with an impact factor of 40%, per CAN/CSA-S6-06
-Aluminium 6061-T6 flat bar fixed access ladder design with safety cage, safety handle, entry/exit systems and fall arrest systems, 3 hole perforated rung (F & L) or ribbed O.P.S.D solid rung plug welded to flat bar stringer supported by formed plate bracket
-Manhole safety landing with aluminum 6351-T6 square deep rung and rectangular side rail aluminum extrusion rated for uniform load in the range of 4.8-12 kPa and deflection with concentrated 100-250kg load not exceeding 1/160 of the span.
-Aluminum 6061-T6 cantilevered platform with railing c/w railing
-Design / Evaluation of Overhead Lifting Lugs for tension failure on sides of the hole, bearing failure at the pin/lifting lug interface, shear failure as the pin tries to push out a block of steel through the edge of the lug plate, tensile failure as the pin tries to push out a block of steel through the edge of the lug plate, the out-of-plane buckling failure of the lug, the minimum net area beyond the pin hole, the distance transverse to the axis of a pin-connected plate from the edge of the pin hole to the edge of the member, the diameter of the pin hole compare to distance from the edge of pin hole to the edge of plate, weld between lug and base plate the weak link in an overhead lifting lug due to off-set loading (since the lug is rarely directly over the item to be rigged design will specify the capacity of the lug for a range of the off-set in the plane and normal to the plane of the lug) and lug base material analysis based on the maximum tensile stress at the base of the lug and satisfaction of the geometry rules for e, a, d and thickness of the lug.
