The place we ended up buying was covered in small print floral wall paper, adhered to the drywall directly without a primer, and every window had puffy balloon curtains and gold shag carpet in the front living room, dusty rose laminate countertop in ensuite, virtually a turnaround kitchen - the list of horrors goes on and on - but all cosmetic, we decided we could work with those things - they were changeable, unlike the perfect setting on the water. Eventually we did manage to open ceilings and tear down walls and make it into our dream home - with still a few things on the list that we have yet to get to. My professional background is retail and restaurant design and construction management and before that Marketing, Communications and Visual Merchandising in the retail industry. I have worked for several national chains, living and working in many urban centers across North America and consequently I am very qualified and truly passionate about helping you find your place in the Kawarthas!
