Milestones Home Daycare is committed to providing a quality childcare environment that promotes early learning and school readiness. Each child in my care will receive a free learning assessment and will have ongoing skill building in five areas of development (physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social).
Work part time? Have a special needs child and need respite or while at work? Just need coverage while you and your partner's shift overlap? Need to do a few errands, go to the gym, or have a nap? Need someone in a pinch if your regular provider is closed or sick? Need care for school age children during school closures? Regardless of the many reasons you may need childcare I am more than happy to provide it for you. Health, safety, education and FUN are my top priorities. Currently offering part time child care as follows: *Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (please note unavailable on Wednesdays) *Minimum one hour, maximum 9 hours *$5 per hour regardless of age of child, $33 max/day, $18 half days *8 am earliest drop off to 5:30 pm latest pick up, earlier/later pick ups negotiable, especially in case of bad weather *Healthy meals/snacks included (no refined sugar or processed foods) *Special needs children welcome to an interview *Infant spots available *Circle time, crafts, outdoor time, free play, naps and quiet reading all part our daily schedule (can flexible depending on needs of children) *Curriculum based on weekly educational themes that extend to songs, activities, crafts and toys. *Receipts provided I offer quality loving child care in my home as a certified Early Childhood Educator with a variety of childcare experience over 18 years, several years of special needs experience and a mom of a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I am also a graduate of the Autism & Behavioural Science program. I have worked for Lansdowne Childrens Centre, Hamilton Health Sciences, KidsAbility, Boys and Girls Club and more. Snacks and meals are based on Canada's Food Guide (avoiding processed foods and refined sugar) and we have daily trips to the park (weather permitting, and is within walking distance) and use of our fully fenced backyard. We are located in the north end of Brantford in a smoke free environment. I am up to date with my Standard First Aid Level C with AED from St. John's Ambulance and a current and clear Police Check. It is very important to me that your child(ren) feel valued and cared for while here. Building self esteem and learning something new everyday helps to develop confident successful kids!
