Kings Meadow offers training and schooling services to all clients; we accept horses for training and will also present horses for sale. We have over ten years of experience in the hunter & jumper rings. We understand and recognize the importance of having a solid foundation on the ground and under saddle, in order to turn out well-mannered mounts who will succeed both in the show ring and at home on the trails. Whether you ride for pleasure or show, we can help bring out the best in both you and your horse.
We maintain detailed records of all training sessions so you can keep up-to-date on your horse's progress and are involved in the training process. We realize that horses are athletes, and as such require a combination of balanced nutrition, proper exercise and time for rest/recuperation. Training schedules will be discussed and mutually agreed upon between the owner and Kings Meadow (3-6 days a week), along with any changes that may need to take place as the horse progresses. Each training session lasts 45-60 minutes of exercise/saddle time, based on the horse's fitness and abilities. All horses receive a thorough cooling down, liniment bath and bandaging if required. Our #1 priority is to meet your needs and the needs of your horse! Owners are welcome to voice any concerns they may have and ask questions about the training process.
