- We are a registered Licensed Daycare in the district of Saanich.
- We have space available for children ages 1-5. - Being licensed means we are trained to take care, teach and guide children following CCRR guidelines which include health, nutrition and active learning. -we have a mini "stage" which has been safety checked by VIHA, it is about 1foot off the ground, mini steps to go up ,secured with railings, a mini slide. We do puppet shows and include the children if they wish to participate. Some of our current children learned to use the stairs with the stage before they learned to walk. This stage is unique, VIHA has never seen childcare with anything like it. - We are proactive with the children.We dont frown upon TV but we stay away from sitting kids down in front of one. We get the kids involved in group activities to prepare themselves for the future of school.We do not force a child into anything. We understand every child is different and may have different routines/patterns, lifestyles, religions ect. Larger day cares may not give the same freedom we offer. - We plan on including a preschool in the future. - We accept full and part-time care. - Open 7am-5pm Monday to Friday ( we may consider alternate hours) - Children do "not" need to be potty trained, we can help with that. - We can include lunches or you can supply it for your child.
