Sin on Skin Tattoo Studio's fully trained & experienced artists specialize in numerous styles and techniques, including; Portraits, Cover Ups, Custom, Asian, Tribal, Realistic, Horror, Fantasy, Watercolor, working with scar tissue, and Celtic to name a few.
The studio has been in downtown Halifax area since 1998, prior to Sin on Skin we had been known as Skintastic Tattoo Studio. It was one of the oldest studios in Halifax, the first and only studio to ever be certified (inspected) as well as recommended by the Board of Health. At that time and in the present, we hold our standards higher, ensuring we provide a safe experience at the studio. We are also one of the few studio's that have fully private and air conditioned tattoo rooms for our clients. We're proud to announce that in 2014 we were chosen by the Better Business Bureau for Accreditation. We feel privileged and honored to receive this award. The BBB logo is on our website as well as many of our online media pages, we're proud to show off our new logo and hope for another great 25 years!! Artists in the studio have Blood Born Pathogen & HIV certification as well as a full understanding of the necessary safeguards for cross contamination prevention. This is to ensure proper handling and disposal of any bodily fluids they may come in contact with during/after your session. Our Guarantee to You..... All artists at Sin on Skin Tattoo Studio offer a guarantee with their own artwork against defect in the artwork. For example after you heal you notice a small spot that may not have taken color as well, any spots that may have been missed due to swelling of skin, or any spots you may have lost during the healing process, etc. just give us a call and we'll get it fixed up at no charge to you. We do not guarantee against normal fading due to sun, self inflicted damage and the passing of time. ~ We offer free consultations to clients. ~ Must be 18 and over to be tattooed. In the Community... We've built a strong connection & presence within our community; becoming involved with events, auctions, schools, government and local businesses. Our biggest event is our work with the local Sheriffs for "Justice Scores for Wishes" and "Pitches for Wishes". These events raise money for local "Make a Wish" children in need, held twice annually. We were also lucky enough to come on board when they did their "Justice for the Cure" (breast cancer) events, all together we've helped these events to raise over $107, 000.00 and sent many more children to live their dreams then we ever could have hoped for. We've also been honored many times in Parliament, Resolution #2123 was the first, thanking us and our fellow supporters for our continued support for Make A Wish Foundation of Canada...I bet they never thought they be talking about tattoo studio's in Parliament! Accomplishments... In the early 90's, Award winning tattoo artist/owner; Kyle LeBlanc, was approached by several companies, to work on various TV shows and movies doing "Special Effects Make Up". They chose him due to his amazing background & talent in art and for his new & innovative temporary tattoo design techniques. In late 1995 he was contracted by Twentieth Century Fox ( Film Corporation), to work on their upcoming project; "Titanic" (starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, and Bill Paxton). Accepting their offer made this the biggest project to date he had worked on, spending many months with the cast & crew.
