Whether it's a business breakfast for a group, a lunch for two, a large family dinner or just a get together with the gang to watch some sports and have a few laughs, Mike's Family Restaurant and Sports Lounge is the place to be in Alliston, Ontario. Mike and Bernice Toukas bring a little of their own cultures to the restaurant. Mike is from Greece and Bernice hails from Cape Breton Island. They met while working at a restaurant in Toronto 34 years ago and have been together ever since. With their combined experience in hospitality, they bring a winning combination of food and ambiance to make Mike's what it is today. Their first restaurant in Alliston was M&B's in which they brought their many years of experience and personal tastes together for an enjoyable new dining event. When the Cheap Seats Sports Lounge became available in the Fall of 2004, Mike, always the sports fan, realized he could mix business with pleasure and attract new customers to enjoy his cooking and hospitality. Mike says, "I've always enjoyed this business, and I don't mind the long days. I just love Canada and the opportunities it has afforded me. Since our opening in October of 2004 we have not had a slow day. We appreciate all our customers and would like to thank them for their continued patronage.
