One of the primary goals of Dr. Xu is to bring to the world population ‘alternative’ or ‘natural’ technologies as a means to substitute for, or compliment, traditional medicinal therapies. He is a philanthropist at heart, and is very much driven to bring his development forward, for the good of mankind.
Background:
- 2004 - Director Member – International Association of TCM
- 2002 - Professor – Shandong Academy of Medical Science
- 2000 - President – The Acupuncture and Herb Association of Canada
- 1997 – President – Ontario Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- 1992 – Lecturer - Shandong University of TCM
- 1987 – Member – Acupuncture Association of China
- 1986 – Shandong TCM Hospital MD
Dr. Xu has consistently been a leader in his area of concentration. Born in Shandong Province, China, Dr Xu’s first sign’s of brilliance first emerged in 1981. Amid fierce competition (Shandong Province population of 90 million) he was chosen as one of only 170 accepted medical students to the highly acclaimed Shandong University. At that time, it was extremely difficult to receive admission to any university in China – medical school was only available to the exceptionally intelligent students of the day and considered almost impossible.
Upon successful completion of his studies, Dr. Xu was given the highest of honors to any graduating medical student at Shandong University – he was selected as one of only 10 lecturers from that year’s graduating class.
Upon receiving his medical doctorate in China, Dr. Xu continued to lead, as can be seen from his diverse yet consistent appointments to high ranking positions in relevant industry roles. His drive for excellence and the betterment of the planet led him to Canada, where he moved his entire family. Shortly thereafter, he was invited to teach at an Acupuncture School in Toronto. Soon Dr. Xu had opened his own clinic, following that with opening the Canadian branch of the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, again in Toronto since 1995, which is earliest and biggest TCM school in Ontario.
It was seven years ago that Dr. Xu began his quest to give the world access to the benefits of acupuncture without the needles. Today, through much determination and the advent of nano-technology, his vision has been realized, with the invention and introduction of Health Recovery Chips.
Dr. Xu has big vision for the future of Sig-na Healthcare Inc. and the Health Recovery Chips. In time, he see’s the HRC’s being utilized world-wide, with an increasingly targeted and effective product line up which will evolve from his tireless research and development efforts.
