Description

Farfalla, butterfly in Italian, moved from their Commercial Drive location, where they were a linen and custom-monogram shop, to the historically-restored Koret Lofts in Gastown. This larger location meant an expansion in their stock to include unique European luxuries, as well as the addition of a Parisian tea room with an enclosed patio in summer. The retail shop features a number of exclusive brands, including Santa Maria Novella, which was founded in 1221 by the Dominican Fathers of Florence, Italy. Other luxury products include Hediard, a gourmet food line established in Paris in 1854, Kusmi Teas, Lomonosov Russian teaware, and Le Jaqcuard Francais fine linens. The tea room serves light European lunches, including soups, baguettes, quiche, salads and sweets. They also proudly serve more than 30 varieties of tea.
