Description

The original owners founded Brar Sweets in the 1980’s, and the first location was established in Toronto which served a limited variety: namely sweets and snacks, such as Samosas, Pakoras, fresh Jalebi and Ladoo. It gained recognition in the ethnic base community as one of the first Indian sweet shops in Toronto’s “Little India” among other ethnic restaurants, clothing, grocery and house-ware outlets available to the growing East Indian community in the GTA at that time.

This place had amazing food, great price, and quiet friendly service. The food was fresh and they were always replacing trays of full food. It had suiteable seating and anytime I go there is a good crowd of customers and everyone is happy and enjoying their experience. This is one of my favorite restaurants, but not owning a car, it is trickier to get there by bus considering I live on the other side of Brampton, but when I am in the area, I stop by.
