Founded in 1992, Golden Orchard Montessori School offers an authentic Montessori program of academic excellence for children ages 21/2 to 6 years. We provide a foundation for a lifetime of learning that encourages individuals to reach their unique human potential. G.O.M.S. is a fully Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators Accredited school and the teachers are certified by Association Montessori International. Our classrooms are spacious, bright and carefully designed to stimulate children's independence and intellectual development. Curriculum is carefully structured and integrated to demonstrate the connections among the different subject areas. The materials in the classroom progress from simple to more complex design and usage, each level of understanding being worked through practice to reach the next level of understanding. Lessons and instructions are tailored to the unique needs and requirements of each child. We challenge students to develop a passion for excellence in whatever they do and instill in them the love for learning. Our goal is to provide the learning experiences that allow children to develop the skills to become successful learners within the classroom, and more importantly, to develop self-confidence, independence, compassion, and the sense of responsibility to become successful members of society.
