The Cellar has received so many favourable reviews over the years from Nova Scotia and national restaurant critics. Most, like Steve Mahar of the Chronicle-Herald, praise The Cellar for it's comfort and consistency: fine neighborhood restaurant serves very good food at reasonable prices.

Used to go here a lot when before I moved out of the area, and I always had good experiences. Good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Was always my number one choice for dining in Bedford. Nice selection of entrees, all of which go well with any of their selections of wine. This is a place to bring a loved one or a date.....although maybe not suitable for young children.
