The purpose of Deep Waters Counselling Services, is to provide, through counselling and psychotherapy, a good standard of care that our clients are entitled to. We are here to provide hope for healing to individuals, couples, children, families and groups, who are experiencing challenges in dealing with difficult life issues. We utilize various counselling/psychotherapeutic approaches such as: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples' Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and Christian/Pastoral Counselling to deal with clients' problems. Needs that we address: Grief/loss/bereavement; Assertiveness training; Self-esteem, self-image problems; Depression; Anxiety; Abuse - physical, emotional, sexual, financial, & verbal; Pre-marital and marriage counselling; Aggression and anger management; Stress management; Social phobias and Addictive behaviors - eg: shopping, pornography and gambling.
