Born in Toronto and raised in Brampton, Ontario, Amanda developed her passion for the beauty industry well before she even knew that it would be a career path. As a child, Amanda would always be admiring herself in the mirror, playing with lipstick and nail polish or dressing up like her Barbie dolls. Amanda developed a deep connection with her creativity and imagination at a young age.
Amanda explored her love for all things makeup at Body Pro Beauty & Aesthetics Academy when she enrolled in the Advanced Makeup Artistry course. Amanda is a certified makeup artist and is currently working as a freelance artist. Amanda has not only been able to grow her pool of clients and have the opportunity to indulge herself in creative photo shoots, but has also worked and received recognition from one of Toronto's prestigious Makeup and Hair Stylists, DMG Designz (www.dmgdesignz.com), and has also volunteered her services working backstage for a fashion show dedicated to Pascale Swim (www.maisonpascale.com) at the Ultimate Toronto's Travel Show 2014. From Bridal to Prom, Photo Shoots and much more, Amanda wants to land you in her chair for your special day!
