Our Chiropractor, Dr. Nick Stryniak, specializes in Active Release Techniques (ART) which is a manual therapy technique ubiquitous in the sporting world for sports injuries, as well as Cox Spinal Decompression Technique which is a specialized treatment for spinal discs, joints and nerve related issue. In developing a complete treatment and rehabilitation plan, he will often use other supplemental therapies such as corrective exercise, Laser Therapy, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Treatments, Kinesiology Taping and Spinal or Joint Manipulation. Our Physiotherapist, Yolanda Pinedo, specializes in Medical Acupuncture, McKenzie Technique as well as acute and chronic injury rehabilitation. Her focus is not only on reducing pain and inflammation but also to improve range of motion, strength, function and getting patients back to their active lifestyle…faster! She has a variety of treatment techniques in addition to using modailities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, traction, heat and ice. Our Massage Therapist, Holly Simmons specializes in sports massage, massage for injury management, deep tissue, swedish and therapeutic/relaxation massage. We typically serve people living in the Halifax Regional Municipality but also regularly help individuals who travel from as far as Yarmouth, Cape Breton and out of province from Moncton.
