HEART Learning was created by our Founder, Dana Ben Halim, who believes very few people experience their life in compartments labeled 'physical', 'intellectual', 'emotional', and 'social'. Most people experience a life course where all these issues come together as one whole. HEART Learning comes from the idea that people learn through a variety of ways and represents how we teach at Heart Learning Centre: Health and Wellness, Emotional Intelligence, Academic Excellence, Readiness for the World and Talent through art.
It is possible to analyze human development under separate aspects such as physical, intellectual, social and emotional development but all these aspects interact with each other in the life stories of real people. Heart Learning Centre provides an educational community and inspires the HEART philosophy which is based on the premise that each person finds identity, meaning, and purpose in life through connections to the community, to the natural world, and to humanitarian values such as compassion and peace.
