Serving authentic Acadian dishes such as Fricot, Chiard, Meat Pie, Fishcakes, Seafood Chowder and Rappie Pie, Lobster Club Sandwiches, Jig's Dinner (Corned Beef and Cabbage), Poutine (regular, chicken and beef). We also serve many other traditional casual dining items such as Fish and Chips, pan fried haddock, club sandwiches, hot and cold sandwiches, hand cut fries, creamed chicken, pulled pork and several other tummy pleasers. On our Dessert Menu, Cinnamon Rolls are traditional acadian dessert favourites. We also serve Strawberry Shortcake on our homemade biscuits with our world renoun local Annapolis Valley Strawberries. Other desserts include Blueberry Buckle, Cheesecake and Apple Crisp; all made right in our kitchen. Our Cafe seats approximately 50 and our premises is fully licensed. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Many of our acadian dish recipes are traditional family recipes from the acadian village of Cheticamp, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia Canada. You can find us off Highway 102, take exit 13. Pass Walmart and turn left at the last set of lights and look for Cafe l'Acadie on the right. Cafe l'Acadie has taken over the Stonehouse Motel Restaurant. We are privately owned and operated. Our Cafe is newly renovated, with a brand new menu.
