Juna Photography is a boutique wedding and portrait photography studio based in Vancouver, BC. Owner and lead photographer Justin Morrison opened the studio in 2010 with the goal of creating images that feel authentic and natural. "So much of the photography I see feels contrived, awkward or over-dramatized. Those sort of images really don't appeal to me. I want to tell stories that feel heartfelt and sincere, so that when my clients look back in 50 years they'll still feel a deep connection to those photographs." Justin attributes his ability to reflect genuine expressions in his clients to the rapport he builds up with those clients ever before the camera is introduced. "To photograph someone as they really are requires their unspoken permission. It's not something you ask for, it's a trust that you earn as a photographer and as a person. I put the personal relationship way ahead of the photographer-subject relationship and I think people really respond to that, albeit subconsciously".
