The Dog Cafe is a new and original coffee shop opening in Hintonburg, Ottawa, catering to artists, intellectuals, students, musicians and dog lovers, alike. Our philosophy is based on the belief that dogs and people belong together and, for that reason, our coffee shop allows dogs access to human spaces, that otherwise would not be possible. We expect customers to understand the need for animals to be well behaved, it is a central policy of ours, as we try to support and accommodate this unique environment for dogs and people.
Special care has been taken to build comfortable and social spaces that separate and create individual living rooms for families, groups of people and their dogs. Dog gates and moveable partitions can be used to reconfigure these spaces per the needs of the coffee shop at anytime. We also provide WI-FI that can be used for meetings, as well as individual projects. Our staff are dog lovers, some with professional degrees in animal care services, capable of providing short and long term boarding, including hourly, daily and overnight.
