We are a small local family farm who provides non-certified cow/calf raised beef, free range eggs, pastured raised pork, chicken, turkeys and lambs. At Whispering Pines Farm and Garden, John and Liz work towards maintaining chemical free land that is farmed in the ‘old ways’ using some biodynamics practices, using organic/natural methods and practicing holistic management which ensures continued land regeneration, animal health and welfare. All animals are born on the farm with the exception of poultry. Our animals are raised chemical free, GMO Free, organically and naturally. The cattle and sheep are grass fed with a small amount of oats and peas to increase their protein during the winter months and are also supplemented with natural GMO free vitamins/minerals, Prebiotics, diatomaceous earth and seaweed from Bio Ag Consultants. The animals are treated with homeopathy when necessary. Our hay is grown on our farm or accessed locally for optimum protein to enhance the health of our herds and flocks. The fields are sprayed with compost teas with seaweed added. All of our meats is processed without the use of nitrates and is gluten-free with the exception of October fest sausage which is clearly marked on the ingredients label.
