Heather was born in Nova Scotia, but began her career in the Toronto apparel industry, where she worked for over ten years. With a talented eye for colour and her unique flair for style, she quickly worked her way to the top.
Heather began her jewellery career over ten years ago, designing jewellery under the trade name Urban Chic, which was showcased on the Canadian Shopping Channel for many years. In 2010, she founded The Butler Collection, a fine collection of contemporary, and sophisticated jewellery that reflects the modern women of today. Her Signature Collection features intricate bead work of rare, exotic gemstones which are showcased in sterling silver or 14K gold. These one of a kind treasures are imaginative, and colourful pieces of wearable art. Heather Butler designs have been featured in magazines and on the red carpets of The Juno, Canadian Country Music Awards, Canadian Screen Awards, and Toronto Film Festival. Heather‘s designs are owned by many stars such as Catherine Zeta Jones, Taylor Swift, Michelle Wright, Terri Clark, Keri Isabelle, Caroline Dawn Johnson, and Amber Marshal to name a few.
